Zoe Yin is a Toronto-based jewellery designer. She graduated from OCAD University in May 2016, and she is currently pursuing Master Degree in Fashion Studies. During her studying at OCADU, she obtained not merely hands-on studio practices on jewellery craftsmanship, but also a strong ability for creative research and critical thinking. She pays particular attention to the concept development for all her works, and established her own abstract aesthetics along her design journey. She likes to work with different materials, like metal, wool, ceramics, and paper. Unfolding an idea from 2D sketches to 3D objects is a meaningful process to explore the dimensions of human body, which reveals her own understanding of relationship between objects in terms of their perspective looks and wearability.
